Pie Factory presents Janmakesnoise and Quinn Bailey
Janmakesnoise
In Janmakesnoises (Jan Quindoyos)’s words - “I make music that challenges myself” .
On stage, Jan utilises his technical knowledge, using samples and live loops to build an ethereal and psychedelic soundscape of synths, jazzy keys, and funk inspired bass lines.
Collaborating with musicians from a wide range of genres, Jan is committed to learning as he solidifies his sound in the current music climate.
JanMakesNoise started as a sample based project but wanting to work his way around the minefield of sample clearance he challenged himself to compose and create original elements to work with.
Quinn Bailey
Quinn Bailey makes music to mend the wounded soul. Drawing influence from post-punk and melodic shoegaze, they create a tentatively mellow soundscape, synergising distinctive pastel-rock with their poetic lyricism.
Now aged 21, with full band backing and an evolving perspective of youth and culture in the modern day, Quinn offers a soulful and mellow insight into their mind's eye on their earthy guitar-driven songs.
‘Veins’ is a collaboration between friends Quinn Bailey and Janmakesnoise.
As part of 2023's Emerging Artists cohort at Pie Factory Music, Quinn bought their acoustic poem and through collaborating with Janmakesnoise was able to build the piece until its full splendour, blending striking live drums and raw, quintessential Indie guitar lines.
Veins promises a tender, heartfelt experience for every hopeless romantic.
