Baby Sensory & Toddler Sense - Winterstoke Gardens Family Day

Thanet Baby Sensory (10 - 10:30AM) and Toddler Sense (10:30 - 11AM) group sessions come to Ramsgate Festival of Sound! These interactive classes are designed to spark curiosity, support early development, and build a welcoming community for local parents and their little ones across Margate, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs.

What to expect

The Welcome: A gentle, musical introduction to help babies and toddlers settle into the environment.

Structured Sensory Play: Led by an experienced practitioner, featuring interactive elements like themed puppet shows, colorful light displays, bubble play, and action songs.

Exploratory Free Play: An opportunity for little ones to investigate texture bins, soft play obstacles, and age-appropriate musical instruments at their own pace.

Social Time: A place for adults to chat, share advice, and build friendships while children safely interact.

- Winterstoke Gardens is completely step-free with a grass pathway around a central grass section.

- Food stalls will be available all day and evening. The bar will be provided by the Honeysuckle Pub.

- Bottled water will be available to purchase. There is no running water on site.

- There will be male and female toilets, along with an accessible toilet for all.

Transport Links

- Free parking nearby. Step-free along the promenade to reach the site. Directly in front of the steps leading down to sea level.

- By bus, you can take the No. 69 route, stopping at Brockenhurst Road (3 mins walk)

- By train, the nearest station is Dumpton Park (this is not step free) or Ramsgate - both are some distance walking.
