A folktronica voyage deep into the Mists of Time. Search for dusty grooves and ancient tales, guided by two tap-dancing experimental chronologists. The audience’s collective energy powers the ChronoCraft, propelling us all out of linear spacetime. And — hopefully — safely back again…

What is it?

Clair and Carli are musical tour guides. They will take you on an imaginary voyage into the Mists of Time. They will tell stories, sing songs and dance.

Do I have to be quiet and sit still?

No! Please feel free to be yourself. If you need to move, make noise, fidget, or leave the space and come back again, that is absolutely fine.

Will it be loud? 

No, it will not be very loud, and there will be no sudden noises. You can wear ear defenders or ear plugs if you want to.

Will there be bright lights?

There will be soft coloured lights, you can wear a visor or sunglasses if you like. There will be no flashing lights.

What should I bring?

You can bring anything you need to be comfortable and feel safe. You could bring fidget toys, and sensory aids like visors, glasses or ear plugs, or a cushion. You can dress up in hi-vis vests or historical costumes for fun.

- Winterstoke Gardens is completely step-free with a grass pathway around a central grass section.

- Food stalls will be available all day and evening. The bar will be provided by the Honeysuckle Pub.

- Bottled water will be available to purchase. There is no running water on site.

- There will be male and female toilets, along with an accessible toilet for all.

Transport Links

- Free parking nearby. Step-free along the promenade to reach the site. Directly in front of the steps leading down to sea level.

- By bus, you can take the No. 69 route, stopping at Brockenhurst Road (3 mins walk)

- By train, the nearest station is Dumpton Park (this is not step free) or Ramsgate - both are some distance walking.
