IT’S A KIND OF CABARET

8:15PM - Rotten Boroughs

Get ready for a wildly entertaining night of musical debauchery as East London’s premier barge-punk supergroup, Rotten Boroughs, makes its way to the Kent coast!Born on the waterways of Hackney’s River Lea, this incredible collective brings together a powerhouse lineup of musicians from legendary alternative bands like Daisy Chainsaw, Christian Death, and The Jim Jones Revue. Forget everything you know about traditional folk music; Rotten Boroughs delivers a dark, intoxicating cocktail of "folk-noir" and rowdy, whiskey-soaked punk theatricality.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of The Pogues, Gogol Bordello, and cinematic Western soundtracks, their live sets are a force of nature—blending driving rhythms, haunting fiddle melodies, and raw, infectious energy. Whether you are a fan of dark cabaret, vintage punk, or foot-stomping roots music, this is a must-see performance from one of the UK’s most unique independent live acts.
