Ramsgate Through the Senses is a weekend festival presenting a range of events to inspire each of your 5 senses. It was founded in 2021 by long time friends Gemma Dempsey and Helen Emler , who have between them over 40 years of experience in hospitality, events, music, theatre and radio production. In 2025 Ramsgate Through the Senses starts an exciting new chapter by coming under the wing of  Ramsgate Festival of Sound, of which Gemma Dempsey is Festival Director.

Now in its fourth year, Ramsgate Through the Senses is thrilled to offer an array of activities and experiences, brought to you by brilliant chefs, artists, and practitioners, guaranteed to activate the senses and inspire the soul!
