Join the rare Environmental Youth Network for a FREE hands-on Insect Identification & Pinning Workshop at the historic Lambs Inn (rare's Administrative Centre)! This interactive session is exclusively for youth ages 13–18 and offers a fun introduction to the fascinating world of entomology.

Led by Eloise Fan, participants will learn how to properly pin and preserve insect specimens, explore techniques for identifying different species, and gain a deeper appreciation for the insects in our local ecosystems. No experience is needed, and all tools and materials will be provided.

Whether you're a budding scientist or just curious about the tiny creatures around us, this is a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the world of bugs!

Spaces are limited, so be sure to register early!

Please reach out to Istafa if you are in need of transportation to the workshop. We can provide you with a subsidy to cover a bus ticket, or taxi as needed.

For more information or for any questions, contact Istafa Sufi, Senior Educator (istafa.sufi@raresites.org).
