UNDER 16 / UNDER 18 ASSESSMENT EVENT

Age group: U18 (2026/27 season age groups)

Venue: Hampton Sports and Fitness Centre, Hanworth Road, Hampton, TW12 3HB

Date: Wednesday 26th August 2026

Meet: 5:45pm

Start: 6pm Finish: 7pm

What to expect:

• 8v8 games
• Games, designed to challenge and assess your playing ability.

Step 1

Players will attend an assessment event, where standout individuals will be identified by our coaching and recruitment team.

Step 2

Selected players will be invited to participate in a competitive showcase match, designed to provide a high-level challenge and opportunity to demonstrate their ability.

Step 3

Players who continue to impress may be offered trial opportunities with selected clubs, subject to club requirements and availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I guaranteed a professional trial after attending a showcase?

No. The purpose of a showcase is to assess your ability and determine whether we feel you are at a level that could be considered for a scholarship or trial opportunity.

What happens if there is interest in me?

Following each showcase, players will be notified of any next steps. If there is interest from clubs, your parents / guardians will be contacted directly to discuss potential trial opportunities.

Please note that some clubs may not be recruiting players in your position at that time.

What if no clubs show interest?

If there is no immediate interest from clubs, we will provide recommendations that we feel match your ability level. These may include:

• Opportunities abroad (for senior players)
• Non-league or semi-professional clubs
• Established private academies with a proven track record of developing talent

Can I attend more than one showcase?

Absolutely. You are welcome to attend as many showcases as you wish, provided you book your place in advance.

Why do I have to pay for the showcase?

Your fee helps cover the costs associated with hosting the event, including:

• Administration
• Staffing
• Refreshments
• Pitch hire
• Other event expenses

What scouts will be attending the showcase?

Attendees may include:

• Scouts from professional and semi-professional clubs
• Licensed football agents
• Coaches and recruitment staff from professional and semi-professional clubs
