Free Portrait Drawing Class: Raw Umber Studios

All welcome as we open our doors for a half-day of open studios involving a drop-in life drawing class and gallery! We'll start at 10am, but feel free to pop in and out whenever you like.

Never taken part in a life drawing class? Brilliant! All levels welcome. We will have easels, paper and pencils available during the portrait drawing session, but you are welcome to bring your own materials. A costumed model will be joining us for some dramatic portrait poses, surrounded by eclectic still life.

What can I expect?

Tutor Lizet Dingemans will guide us through a portrait demo, before providing 1-1 advice on your own drawings (if you like!).

PLUS. We're hosting a pop-up gallery of many of our regular visiting artists and tutors, featuring the works of: Hollis Dunlap, Lizet Dingemans, Luca Indraccolo, Nicholas O'Leary, David Shevlino, Lydia Cecil, Patrick Jackson, Anastasia Pollard and Charlie Pickard! If you don't fancy drawing, come by for a snoop at our collection of incredible artworks.

If you're not sure about any of this but still fancy a snoop, drop by anyway. We have biscuits.
