BigSmall? The Japanese have a word (Ōkina ko) that translates as ‘BigSmall’. It denotes something that is both small and big at the same time. We love this word as it captures the essence of the gospel and of how our churches can practically start to think and function in their calling and mission.

BigSmall Learning Community
On the 28th of April REACH is launching an online Learning Community / Community of Practice called BigSmall; 8 monthly sessions exploring principles, practices, and tools for growing a culture that places mission and discipleship front and center and equips everyone to play.
We’ll be exploring the practicalities of launching and leading missional communities, multiplying missional leaders, building a discipling culture and much more. Two in-person gatherings will be part of the series. BigSmall will journey with you and your team in reimagining church and mission, bringing simple tools and principles to the task of integrating prophetic insight and strategic planning.

You've Got A Church In You

For those of you carrying a church in your heart that has not yet been birthed, the BigSmall learning community can help you see it to fruition. Each believer carries the seed of the church because we each carry the gospel and have Christ in us. When we share the good news and journey with those around us we become a community that Jesus recognises as his church. In their earliest iteration, most churches begin this way and it remains the most fruitful way of making disciples today.

REACH is facilitating a network of just such micro-churches. Micro churches are communities of believers in homes and workspaces. They have multiple expressions but one thing in common; they have King Jesus at the centre of their work, rest, and home life. Micro-church planting is an exciting and simple expression that we see growing in London.
