Holly Pester
Holly Pester lives in Colchester and is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Literature, Film and Theatre Studies, University of Essex. Her publications include works of poetry, Comic Timing (Granta) and Cafés (Fitzcarraldo Editions) and a novel The Lodgers (Granta).

Asprey Liu
Asprey is an anthropologist and PhD candidate at an unnameable university in New York. Her current ethnographic research, among finance professionals, is based in London.

Fintan Calpin
Fintan Calpin is a writer from South London. He edits the magazine Weekend with Catherine Kelly and put a pamphlet out with Veer2 last summer called Terminal City.

Husna Rizvi
Husna Rizvi works in the aid sector. She was formerly a digital editor at New Internationalist magazine where she covered global politics and mental health. She has a Substack about the felt experience of psychoanalysis, @noodlethoughts. 

James Oldham
James Oldham is a composer, performer, and researcher working in opera and live comedy – generally stretching the definitions of the respective forms. His PhD Translating Comedic Materials into Music is a consideration of the form-defying potential of techniques from comedy as a tool for subversion of expectation and even political and social change.

Aea Varfis-van Warmelo
Aea Varfis-van Warmelo is a writer and editor based in London. Her first book, Attention-Seeking Behaviour, was published in 2026
