Life Drawing: Weekly Classes for Beginners and the Curious
Discover the art of life drawing in these supportive, exploratory classes led by practicing artist Emily Chung. Across the series, you'll develop core skills in observing and drawing the human form—building confidence through guided exercises, structured lessons, and creative experimentation.
Whether you're completely new to figure drawing or looking to deepen your practice, this course will help you see and draw with fresh eyes.
Who it’s for
Perfect for: Beginners, improvers, and anyone interested in learning to draw the human body with accuracy, expression, and curiosity.

Emily says:
“Drawing is a native skill we all have. I see drawing as a game we play with our eyes, hands, and tools. This course will introduce you to different artists and ways of drawing. The aim isn’t to make a masterpiece — it’s about making mistakes and learning from them. Drawing is about looking, so we’ll experiment together to explore how we see things, how we use our materials, and how we challenge our ways of looking.”
