SCULPT A GORILLA

One day Sculpt a Gorilla Workshop with Rebecca Maynard 

• A fun and relaxed introduction to hand building with clay
• Suitable for all abilities
• £110 for the day which includes  booking fees, all materials, firing and glazing costs

 Join me on this NEW one day workshop at the beautiful Barn in Hurstbourne Tarrant. 

This class is suitable for all abilities as I guide you through a  a step-by-step construction process using clay slabs and sculpting techniques to create your own frost-proof gorilla sculpture .

You can then finish your gorilla by adding colour using clay slips and oxides.

Your finished gorilla will then be dried and fired in the kiln ready for collection

in 2 –3 weeks

Getting there

The Barn’ is located in the quiet village of Hurstbourne Tarrant. The Barn is a spacious, rustic beamed building which makes for a wonderful creative space.

Arrival time is 10am (no need to arrive early)

Coopers Barn is set back from the road through the large gates which are almost opposite The Rural Business Hub and Post Box. Please call me if you have difficulty finding us .07816834605

Parking

Parking on site is limited to disabled parking only. There is plenty of parking available along Church Street which is the turning off the main road next to The George and Dragon pub. PLEASE DO NOT PARK in The Rural Business Hub as this is reserved for Hub users only.

What to bring

During the colder months the fire will be lit which keeps The Barn toasty and warm. However, it can take a while to heat up so please bring layers just in case. Bring an apron as it can get messy.

Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day.

Don't forget to bring your own lunch.
