Calling women poets in Wolverhampton and surrounding areas!
We’re excited to announce our next in person event: Health and Well-Being of Women Poets – A Celebration of Women’s Voices curated by Kuli Kohli, RSF Creative Associate for Wolverhampton.
Taking place at Wolverhampton Art Gallery on Saturday 31 January 2026, this seminar will explore how women writers find time and space to create – what sustains them, what deters them and what helps them thrive.
Featuring readings by the city’s first Poet Laureate Emma Purshouse and acclaimed poet Liz Berry, as well as group discussions led by Jane Seabourne, Priyanka Joshi, Cherry Doyle and Anne Babbs, we’ll gather to share experiences, exchange ideas, and build supportive networks.
The seminar is designed to spark inspiration and help women sustain their creative practice. Encouraging in-person networking, peer-to-peer support and bringing together women poets to help develop skills, support wellbeing and celebrate creativity.
The FREE event is for women poets based in Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas.
