Man and Pet Trailing Jesmond

Come and discover the joy of trailing and teach your dog to use their incredible nose to locate a ‘lost’ person or dog.

These sessions are designed to strengthen the bond between you and your dog while building confidence, focus and calmness through scentwork. Trailing allows dogs to engage in natural behaviour in a structured and supportive environment.

Suitable for all levels, including complete beginners. You do not need any previous experience as full guidance is provided. Sensitive and reactive dogs are very welcome as dogs work individually.

Each session lasts approximately two hours. Dogs trail one at a time and take turns throughout the session. When not working, dogs wait in vehicles between trails. If your dog finds this challenging, please get in touch beforehand so we can support you.

During the session you may take part in trailing, hiding, following or observing. This shared approach helps everyone understand the process and supports learning.

Please note that session timings may vary slightly depending on conditions and individual dogs.
