Rebild U.S. 2026 Annual Meeting in Nashville, TN

Annual meeting in Nashville, Tennessee
It is no easy task to have a short time to arrange a Rebild Annual Meeting anywhere. It makes the adrenaline pump a little too fast at times, but a task is a task and a challenge is a challenge.
After four visits to Nashville and numerous phone calls and emails to potential contacts since our meeting in San Diego, an exciting and interesting program has been finalized. Thanks to valuable inputs from Rebild friends and others.
A big change from many previous years is that we’ll stay at the same hotel for the pre tour, meetings, and post tour for the whole period. In that way and in this case, we’ll save time on the road and do less packing and unpacking. The reason is that Nashville and the surrounding area have so much to offer, and also because chartered buses could break the bank.
Even though there are many planned visits to cool sightseeing locations, it also leaves more time for the participants to explore on their own and on their own time.
Holiday Inn Downtown Stadium on First Street will be our home base, and it is located in walking distance, 1,2 miles, from downtown Music City. Free exercise. Using a Uber or Lyft to get forward and back to the hotel costs only $6-7. It gives the participants much more freedom and has made the whole event much more affordable. So affordable, that you may consider bringing a friend or another family member to this festive and relaxed annual event in the company with fun and nice people.
Our hotel is a three-star hotel, and for Nashville $179.00 per night, incl breakfast buffet and plus taxes is a really good deal. Here you’ll also find a nice bar, free coffee all day long, and the deepest pool in town, eight feet. There is free parking for the ones, who want to travel by car.
Worth bearing in mind is that the original name of the hotel was “King of the Road”. Singer-song writer Roger Miller built the hotel in the sixties and named it after one of his many hits, “King of the Road”. It drew several artists to the hotel including Johnny Cash, Elvis, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Dolly Parton, and you name it. You will walk in the shades of so many memories, maybe even feel like a star.
Note: Since nothing is set in stone during these peculiar times, changes may occur and then we’ll take it from there.
Really, really hope to meet you in Nashville in April 2026. Remember, you are always welcome to contact me via phone, 859-248-0690, or email sune.ky@icloud.com .
Rebild greetings,
Sune Frederiksen, Convention chair
