Education Sector Day

You’re invited to our complimentary Education Sector Day presented by the Vancouver International Privacy and Security Summit in partnership with ISACA Vancouver. Offered in virtual format online, we have special guests from Northeastern University, BCIT, and ISACA Vancouver, all with the single objective of participating in conversation that might generate new ideas around improving the flow of BC’s cyber talent into the workforce.
Whether you are a student in search of a career, or a seasoned veteran looking to mentor someone, or an industry observer looking for the discourse needed to bring more qualified cybersecurity professionals to bear against one of modern society’s biggest pains today, please join us for an informative and interactive afternoon.
Agenda topics include:
- Exploring Recommendations to Improve BC’s Cyber Talent Pipeline from ISACA Vancouver’s 2021 White Paper
- Exploring ISACA Vancouver’s various programs that support BC’s Cyber talent Pipeline
- Panel: Managing a Cybersecurity Career - from student to retirement
- Taking Questions from the Floor – Students from both high and postsecondary are both welcome to ask questions a diverse, experienced roundtable of cybersecurity veterans

automatically have access to these sessions on the virtual platform on
March 9th.

The 2nd Annual Vancouver International Privacy & Security Summit and its organizers are dedicated to
providing an inclusive and harassment-free summit experience for
everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual
orientation, ability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, country of
origin, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of summit
delegates in any form. Summit delegates violating these rules may be
sanctioned or expelled from the summit, without a refund, at the
discretion of the summit organizers. If a delegate engages in harassing
behaviour, event organizers retain the right to take any action to keep
the event a welcoming environment for all delegates. This includes
warning the offender or expulsion from the summit. We expect delegates
to follow these rules at all event venues and event-related social
activities.
