WRAP Seminar I

Multiple dates and times Life Connections of the Carolinas, 28216

Thank you for your interest in becoming a WRAP Facilitator. Our goal is to expand access to WRAP trainings throughout Mecklenburg County. We are therefore seeking dedicated facilitators who are committed to serving the community.

Please review the information below carefully and ensure that you understand the expectations.

What is WRAP?

Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is a simple and powerful process for creating the life and wellness you want. With WRAP, you can:

  • Discover simple, safe, and effective tools to create and maintain wellness
  • Develop a daily plan to stay on track with your life and wellness goals
  • Identify what throws you off track and develop a plan to keep moving forward
  • Gain support and stay in control even in a crisis

The WRAP process supports you to identify the tools that keep you well and create action plans to put them into practice in your everyday life. All along the way, WRAP helps you incorporate key recovery concepts and wellness tools into your plans and your life.

To learn more about the key concepts of WRAP and the six components of its wellness toolbox, visit: What Is WRAP? - Wellness Recovery Action Plan.

About WRAP Seminar I

WRAP Seminar I is an interactive course for anyone who is interested in wellness, recovery, and creating their own evidence-based Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP). In these interactive seminars, participants learn how to develop personal life and wellness goals as they engage in a mutual learning model with other peers.

WRAP Seminar I is a 16-hour training that will take place in person over two 8-hour days (9am-5pm).

Upon completion of Seminar I, participants can sit one-on-one to help another create their WRAP.

Participants receive their own Wellness Recovery Action Plan, WRAP Workbook, and the pocket-sized WRAP On the Go and Crisis Plan On the Go.

Snacks and lunch is provided on both days.
