Recess for Revolution is a grassroots project that began in February 2025, offering in-person community gatherings that educate Austin residents on local issues and provide them with the tools to resist oppressive systems through mutual aid, coalition building, skill-sharing, and teach-ins. Recess' mission is to empower people to apply what they've learned from these gatherings in the real world and stand in solidarity with our communities that are most vulnerable to injustices, ultimately building toward collective liberation!
