Recess for Revolution

This month will focus on Language Justice! Connect with local orgs serving non-English-speaking and deaf/hard-of-hearing communities in Austin, and learn from a panel of language access advocates as they discuss barriers and solutions to climate emergency preparedness, services, and the safety of immigrants. Note: Each panelist will speak in their preferred language, while interpreters translate for the audience. Every attendee will be offered a headset to gain a deeper understanding of navigating an environment where the dominant language is not their own.
