Looking to connect with other Reconstructionists in person as we head into 5785? Join us for this special adults-only gathering amidst the majestic scenery of the Pocono Mountains at Camp Havaya.
🕍 Engage with Reconstructing Judaism: Participate in meaningful Jewish learning, mindful spiritual practice, rest, and reflection to deepen your connection to this special time of renewal and teshuva/return.

Camp Information:
Camp Havaya is located on 120 acres of beautifully wooded land in the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania, the Aaron and Marjorie Ziegelman Campus has a kosher kitchen, heated six-lane swimming pool, private pond, indoor/outdoor theater, multiple athletic fields and courts, and streams and hiking trails throughout the property. The camp is a rustic environment with gravel and dirt paths, and uneven terrain. We regret that not all spaces are fully accessible. Contact Thriving Communities for details about accessibility.
Options for accommodations include a bunk bed in a shared rustic camp cabin, a limited number of basic hotel camp rooms, and private rooms in a nearby newly renovated Comfort Inn where we have a limited number of rooms at a discounted rate. There are higher-end accommodations available in the area. Contact Thriving Communities for additional options. Those staying at camp need to bring linens and towels.
Every person attending the Shabbaton must purchase a ticket. Please choose your accommodation type during the registration process.
Meals and snacks from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch are provided by the camp. Most special dietary needs can be met with advance notice.
