Dusk Wildlife Walk at Countess of Chester Country Park

The City Nature Challenge is a global wildlife recording event which unites people in over 500 City Regions all over the world for 4 days of nature observation. Join us and Friends of Countess Country Park for an evening stroll searching for and recording wildlife to help boost our Chester Region total. We'll be on the look out for the birds, invertebrates, mammals and plants that call the park home. We hope to spot diurnal (daytime) species at first and will keep our eyes peeled for a glimpse of any nocturnal inhabitants towards the end of the walk. We'll be using the iNaturalist app to photograph and record any wildlife spotted - it's easy to use and you don't have to be an expert to join in. 

This is an IN-PERSON event taking place outside.

Accessibility: We will be taking  a slow stroll through Countess of Chester Country Park and sticking to marked paths. The meeting point is a 5-minute walk from the carpark and we plan to walk for around an hour in total as part of the session. The event is free to attend, but please note there is a small charge for the carpark at the park. The event is open to all ages, but under 18s will need to be accompanied by an adult. Please make sure you book a free ticket for everyone attending. Details on the exact meeting point will be emailed to you when you book - please check your spam box if you've not heard from us.
