Wildlife Recording walk at Anderton Nature Park
The City Nature Challenge is a global wildlife recording event which unites people in over 500 City Regions all over the world for 4 days of nature observation. Across the world people are working together to document as much wildlife as possible. Join us for a relaxed stroll through the park searching for and recording wildlife as part of our effort to boost our 'Chester Region' City Nature Challenge total. We'll be on the look out for the birds, invertebrates, mammals and plants that call the park home. As we go we'll be using the iNaturalist app to photograph and record any wildlife spotted - it's easy to use and you don't have to be an expert to join in.
This is an IN-PERSON event taking place outside.
Accessibility: We will be taking a slow stroll through Anderton Nature Park and sticking to marked paths. We plan to walk for around 2 hours in total as part of the session. If you have any mobility needs or other additional needs please do not hesitate to get in touch with us ahead of the event to discuss (email info@record-lrc.co.uk).
The event is free to attend, but please note there is a small charge for the carpark at the park. The walk is aimed at adults and older children (i.e. those able to use the app on their own device), however anyone is welcome to attend (under 18s need to be accompanied and supervised by an adult). Please make sure you book a free ticket for everyone attending. Details on the exact meeting point will be emailed to you when you book - please check your spam box if you've not heard from us.
The session is hosted by RECORD. Please email any questions to info@record-lrc.co.uk.
