Wildlife Recording walk at Whitby Park
The City Nature Challenge is a global wildlife recording event which unites people in over 500 City Regions all over the world for 4 days of nature observation. Across the world people are working together to document as much wildlife as possible.
Join us for a relaxed stroll through the park searching for and recording wildlife as part of our effort to boost our 'Chester Region' City Nature Challenge total. We'll be joined by Andy from the Community Garden who will show us round the garden whilst we use the free iNaturalist app to record wildlife.
This is an IN-PERSON event taking place outside.
Accessibility: We will be taking a slow stroll around the park. We plan to walk for around 1 hour in total as part of the session. If you have any mobility needs or other additional needs please do not hesitate to get in touch with us ahead of the event to discuss (email info@record-lrc.co.uk).
The event is free to attend and is aimed at adults and older children (i.e. those able to use the app on their own device), however anyone is welcome to attend (under 18s need to be accompanied and supervised by an adult). Please make sure you book a free ticket for everyone attending. We will be meeting near Theatre Porto. Details on the exact meeting point will be emailed to you when you book - please check your spam box if you've not heard from us.
The session is hosted by RECORD. Please email any questions to info@record-lrc.co.uk.
