For our October Wildlife Exchange Session we're excited to be joined by Gary Hedges, Tanyptera Regional Entomologist at The Tanyptera Project.
The project is a long term initiative that started in 2017, with the aim of promoting the study and conservation of insects and other invertebrates in the North West.
Gary will be reflecting on a successful 8 years. We'll hear an overview of what they project has helped to faciliatate and produce; and what they've done to help improve the skills of current and new invertebrate recorders.
We'll also learn about some of the highlights so far, including important regional finds and community achievements. Plus find out what the team have planned for the next four years and how you can get involved.
There will be plenty of time to ask questions after the talk. What's more, free hot drinks and biscuits will be provided!
This event is aimed at adults, however sensible older children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Accessibility: The Community Hall is on the first floor of the building and can be accessed via stairs or a lift. Please let us know prior to the session if you have any access needs or other relevant additional needs.
The session is hosted by RECORD. To hear about upcoming events, you can also sign up to the RECORD mailing list here.
