This weekend marks International Bat Night and we'd love you to join us to celebrate! These amazing nocturnal predators can eat up to 3000 insects per night - join us to learn more about them during a relaxed stroll through Countess of Chester Country Park at dusk. Expert Tony Parker will be leading our walk and we'll be using bat detectors to listen in on the echolocation calls made by the park's resident bats. The walk is free to attend but booking is essential.

Accessibility: We will be taking a slow stroll through Countess of Chester Country Park and sticking to marked paths. The meeting point is a 5-minute walk from the carpark and we plan to walk for around 2 hours in total as part of the session. If you have any mobility needs or other additional needs please do not hesitate to get in touch with us ahead of the event to discuss (email info@record-lrc.co.uk).

This walk is aimed at adults and older children, however anyone is welcome to attend (under 18s need to be accompanied and supervised by an adult). The event is free to attend, however please make sure you book tickets for everyone attending through Ticket Tailor as there are limited numbers. More information on the exact meeting point and what to bring along will be emailed to you when you book - please check your spam emails if this doesn't arrive.

The session is hosted by RECORD, supported by Friends of Countess of Chester Country Park and The Conservation Volunteers (TCV). For any questions please contact info@record-lrc.co.uk.
