The Shame We Learned
A Conversation with Troy Love
Facilitated by Joe Saavedra, LMFT
About this gathering
Many of our most painful patterns are rooted in shame we carried long before we had words for it. In this informal, one-hour conversation, Troy Love sits down with Joe Saavedra to talk about the “shadows of shame,” the protective parts of us that take shape around old attachment wounds and unmet needs.
It is a chance to connect with Troy, hear more about his work and the Finding Peace model, and get a feel for what is ahead in his Extended Learning Workshop later that week. Come as you are. There is nothing to prepare and no pressure to speak. Just a warm, open space to listen, reflect, and be part of the conversation.
This gathering is a relaxed warm-up to the Shadows of Shame workshop on Saturday, August 8th, though you are very welcome here whether or not you plan to join the full workshop.
If you are able to contribute, your support helps us keep these gatherings going. Contributions of any amount are gratefully received.
The recording of this session (without the Q&A) will be shared on our YouTube channel after the event.
