Finding Peace in Difficult Times: The Daily Path of Recovery
An Open Community Gathering
Finding Peace in Difficult Times
The Daily Path of Recovery
With Claude AnShin Thomas
About this gathering
Zen Buddhist monk, Vietnam War veteran, peace activist, and author Claude AnShin Thomas will speak to the raw reality of addiction, trauma, and transformation. Drawing on his own lived experience of childhood abuse, combat, homelessness, and substance use, along with decades of spiritual practice, he'll share what it means to walk a daily path of recovery, and how to face fear, craving, and delusion without being ruled by them.
If you are able to contribute, your support helps us keep these gatherings going. Contributions of any amount are gratefully received.
The recording of this session (without the Q&A) will be shared on our YouTube channel after the event.
