From Craving to Regulation:
Experiencing the Body's Survival Strategies

A two-hour workshop with Jan Winhall, MSW, PIFOT

This workshop is a special fundraiser. As a small nonprofit, we rely mostly on contributions from our community to support our work. Your contribution helps us organize gatherings and workshops, edit and share recordings and educational resources, and cover the costs of the essential tools we use to make all of this possible.

We are grateful for the support that helps us continue making our gatherings and resources available to anyone who might find them helpful.

About this workshop

What if craving isn't something we need to fight, but something we can learn to listen to? In this experiential session, Jan explores addiction and recovery through her Felt Sense Polyvagal Model, looking at how early attachment shapes our capacity for regulation.

Jan will guide us through selected practices from her book Twenty Embodied Practices for Healing Trauma and Addiction, exploring the felt sense and ways of approaching difficult experiences without becoming overwhelmed. She'll also introduce the Four-Circle Practice, an embodied roadmap for managing cravings and guiding recovery.

The recording of this session (without the Q&A) will be shared on our YouTube channel after the event.

Personal reflection and questions are welcome, but participation does not create a therapeutic or clinical relationship with Recovery Reimagined or a guest presenter.
