About the workshop
If I need you to be a certain way in order for me to be okay, that's not connection. That's control. And it quietly poisons the way we communicate, the way we love, and the way we show up in every relationship in our lives.
In this two-hour workshop, Allen explores how emotional dependency shapes our relationships and our communication, and how emotional sobriety opens the door to something better: the freedom to be ourselves while staying genuinely connected to others.

Recovery Reimagined workshops and community gatherings are educational and recovery-supportive spaces. They are designed to complement, rather than replace, professional mental health care, therapy, treatment or an individual's existing recovery program. Personal reflection and questions are welcome, but participation does not create a therapeutic or clinical relationship with Recovery Reimagined or a guest presenter.
