About this gathering

Dr. Richard Brown and Dr. Patricia Gerbarg introduce the science and practice of Breath-Body-Mind™ (BBM), a breath-based mind-body method to help relieve stress and support physical and mental well-being.

Over the past 25 years, they have developed BBM using modern neuroscience and clinical research to optimize the benefits of breathing techniques, Qigong and Yoga movements, visualizations, space meditation, and healing sound. They have pioneered the use of these methods with a wide range of physical and psychological conditions, including substance use and addiction. Their programs are designed to be simple, safe for most people, and useful in everyday situations as well as during and after mass disasters.

The New York State Office of Mental Health offers free online Breath-Body-Mind™ practices three times a day, seven days a week, open to all New York State residents.

Join Dr. Brown and Dr. Gerbarg for a three-hour Breath-Body-Mind™ Extended Learning Workshop on Saturday, November 21, with guided practice in Coherent Breathing, Breath Moving, and more.
