About this gathering
Many of us in recovery have been invited to turn toward a higher power. For some, that connection comes easily. For others, it's been hard to find, especially if the idea of a higher power came with fear, shame, or religious beliefs or dark spirits we couldn't relate to.
In this one-hour gathering, Bob introduces his approach to building a living connection with guides and a higher power. He'll talk about influences both positive and negative, including what Internal Family Systems calls unattached burdens, and how releasing them can make room for connection.
There will be time for your questions, which you can send in through the chat.
No background in IFS is needed, and you're welcome to bring your own beliefs, questions, or doubts.
Bob will lead a three-hour Clearing the Way to Spirit Extended Learning Workshop on Saturday, January 30.
We suggest a contribution of $3 per person to help keep these gatherings open and accessible to everyone.
If you're able to contribute, please do. Every contribution helps us continue offering these conversations without a set ticket price.

Recovery Reimagined workshops and community gatherings are educational and recovery-supportive spaces. They are designed to complement, rather than replace, professional mental health care, therapy, treatment or an individual's existing recovery program. Personal reflection and questions are welcome, but participation does not create a therapeutic or clinical relationship with Recovery Reimagined or a guest presenter.
