Poultry Keeping Course

Our course is relaxed and informal aimed at first time poultry keepers, numbers are strictly limited. We cover the basics of keeping happy healthy chickens. There will be chance to handle our birds and ask plenty of questions over light refreshments. We anticipate the course will last approximately 2 hours.

The course will be held where we keep our chickens, this is a working smallholding and there are areas of uneven ground. We recommend you wear sturdy shoes and warm clothing. We have a dry sheltered area in our barn in case of bad weather.

Please let us know in advance if you have any mobility problems and we will discuss any necessary arrangements with you to ensure you can fully take part in our course.

Families with children over 12 are welcome (insurance requirements). All under 16's must be accompanied by a paying adult.
