Honouring Sir Alastair King DL, 696th Lord Mayor of London

Individual places are held at 2025 prices. Early booking is warmly encouraged for this evening at Butchers' Hall.

Join us in the heart of the City for an extraordinary evening where civic leadership, heritage craftsmanship, and live storytelling meet.

Now in its 11th edition, this unique Gala offers a rare, first-hand insight into a mayoralty shaped by stewardship, enterprise, diplomacy, and public life. It is an evening to pause, reflect, and connect—marked by the presentation of a newly commissioned stained glass roundel, the celebration of young people, and a shared commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant.

Who is Joining Us?

Reflections has always been as much about the people in the room as the programme itself. Guests will have the opportunity to reconnect with longstanding colleagues, make new introductions, and engage with individuals from across civic life, business, education, the arts, public service, youth organisations, charities, and the livery movement.

Why Attend

The Reflections Gala Evening offers a rare opportunity to step inside the living history of civic life. At its heart, this is not simply a dinner; it is a purposeful gathering shaped by gratitude, service, and storytelling.

Guests will hear first-hand reflections from the Immediate Past Lord Mayor, witness the Stained Glass Roundel Presentation Ceremony, and share the evening with a carefully curated cross-section of City leaders, livery members, professionals, artists, and young people.

Honouring Veterans at the Gala

Following the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant at our 10th anniversary Gala in 2025, we are proud to give visible recognition to those who have served, placing them at the heart of our themes of gratitude, service, and civic connection.

This year, in partnership with LifeWorks, we are privileged to host three inspirational veterans who have recently graduated from their support programme. To represent the full breadth of our armed services, we will be welcoming one veteran from each branch:

  • The Royal Navy
  • The British Army
  • The Royal Air Force

Each veteran will be seated as an honoured guest at one of our named Past Lord Mayor tribute tables. Their places are provided entirely by Reflections of The Lord Mayor as part of our ongoing covenant commitment, celebrating the shared spirit of service, transition, and contribution that underpins the evening.
