The dress code for tomorrow evening is lounge suit or cocktail attire.
Members of Livery Companies are warmly encouraged to wear their Livery badges.
Serving and veteran members of the Armed Forces are also welcome to wear uniform, including Mess Dress or Service Dress, or decorations, as appropriate to a formal civic evening.
Following the inaugural Shrieval Reflections in 2024, we gather again in 2026 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s for an evening of insight, conversation, and shared civic experience.
The evening begins with a reception at Sabine Rooftop Bar, overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral, before moving into the main programme in the Wren Suite at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s.
At the heart of the evening are reflections from two Immediate Past Sheriffs of the City of London.
David Chalk and Alderman Gregory Jones KC will reflect on their 2024–2025 shrieval year, sharing insight into service, stewardship, justice, ceremony, and the lived experience of representing the City at home and abroad.
The evening will open with an address from Alderman Vincent Keaveny CBE and will conclude with closing reflections from Lady Lucy French, CEO of Fleet Street Quarter, bringing the conversation to a thoughtful close.

Food & Drink
Guests will enjoy a relaxed and sociable dining experience, with bowl food served during the evening reception to support conversation and ease of movement throughout the space.
All tickets include two drinks per person, with a choice of beer, wine, or soft drinks.
Indicative menu highlights include:
- Quinoa, kale, pomegranate, pumpkin seed & avocado salad
- Thai-style beef & noodle salad
- Paneer makhani with cumin-infused rice
- Spinach & ricotta tortellini with tomato and roasted pepper pesto
- Beef bourguignon with creamy mashed potatoes
- Seasonal berry Eton mess with vegan meringue

Standard Ticket: £95
A further 60 tickets will be released at the standard rate until Tuesday, 26 May 2026, subject to availability.
3% of this ticket supports The Sheriffs’ & Recorder’s Fund.
A Cause for Giving
From its inception, Shrieval Reflections has carried a charitable dimension. In 2024, £800 was donated from the inaugural gathering in support of The Sheriffs’ & Recorder’s Fund.
In 2026, 3% of all ticket proceeds will support the Fund, continuing the Sheriffs’ long-standing tradition of philanthropy.
By attending, guests take part in a growing civic tradition, contributing not only to dialogue, but to meaningful support for those facing hardship.

The evening will be photographed and filmed. A recording may be shared after the event as part of the Reflections archive.
