Learn how to provide the best possible care and welcome to newly arrived unaccompanied children in the UK.
This capacity-building training is for anyone who supports, makes decisions about, or encounters unaccompanied children through their job or volunteer role.
Learn about the journeys made by thousands of unaccompanied children each year, and the far-reaching implications and impact that these journeys have.
Participants receive practice guidance for supporting unaccompanied children, as well as an overview of the relevant asylum and social care processes, and the age assessment procedures that children are likely to experience.
The training is suitable for all experience levels. For experienced practitioners the training deepens knowledge and creates time to reconnect with children’s realities.
