Overdose Awareness Day event

We will be holding a remembrance event on the 31st of August, which is International Overdose Awareness Day. We will have a vigil space for people to come and light a candle for loved ones and community members who have passed, and we will set up a demonstration safer consumption site outside of the venue to show life-affirming alternative interventions which we could have in London, to help prevent future drug deaths. 

There will be art on display and some performances by members of our community during this event. If you are interested in displaying works or performing as well, please get in touch with Shayla at Release: shayla@release.org.uk. 

26-08 update: Capacity is not a concern for this event, so feel free to bring friends on the day regardless of if they have tickets. Paid tickets are still optional but will help us to offset the costs of venue hire for this event, so they are appreciated if within your means.
