Join us for an evening devoted to the art of conversation, the kind that lingers, surprises, and occasionally changes the direction of your night.

Set in 67 Pall Mall, a quietly exceptional private members’ club in St James’s, known for its remarkable wine collection (thousands of bottles, hundreds by the glass) and a membership of people who take their wine, and their company, seriously.

We tend to assume that the best conversationalists are born that way: effortlessly engaging, endlessly interesting. Happily, that’s not quite true. Conversation, like anything worth doing well, can be learned and improved upon.

Together with single members from 67 Pall Mall, we are curating an intimate group to join the conversation, a room designed to feel considered, balanced, and genuinely engaging.

With a light touch and a great deal of insight, the team at Maclynn will share what actually works: how to ask better questions, how to listen in a way that feels rare (and is), and how to navigate those first few minutes with ease rather than effort.

Alongside this, 67 Pall Mall will guide us through a tasting of three single-vintage wines, each one distinct, expressive, and impossible to replicate. Not unlike a really good conversation.

The format is sociable, softly structured, and just the right side of glamorous: low-lit tables, guests gently rotated, excellent wine, and people worth meeting.
