Artists in Conversation Festival 2026

Renegade Opera's annual event inviting audiences and artists to discuss innovation and inspiration as we foster community and growth in the performing arts in Portland and beyond. 

Festival Schedule:

This year's festival includes:

Duo Cantilena (Joshua Bavaro and Emily Evelyn Way): an exploration of repertoire written for voice and classical guitar, from the Baroque to Eva Cassidy, performed by husband-and-wife duo, Joshua Bavaro and Emily Evelyn Way.

We're Still Here (Madeleine Tran and Friends): a recital showcasing love songs written by the queer composers of the classical canon and exploring the possible connections between the ways they wrote about love and the ways queer artists write about love today.

All tickets are general admission and we invite you to utilize our sliding scale prices to create your own festival experience! Join us for 1, 2, or all 4 performances to see and hear these powerhouse artists in action.
