Soil Sisters Event Policies:
This is a workshop designed for those 18 and older and everyone needs to have their own paid registration. If childcare is an issue and you need to bring your children in order to attend the workshop, please let us know in advance.
All Soil Sisters events will be fully outdoors with space for social distancing. Masks are not required.
Dress for the weather. Bring sunscreen, sun hat and good walking shoes.
Leave your pets at home as these are working farms with other animals.

About Lisa Kivirist & John Ivanko
Lisa and John are co-authors of Homemade for Sale, Farmstead Chef, ECOpreneuring and Rural Renaissance. John is the co-author of several award-winning children’s multicultural photobooks, including To Be a Kid, Be My Neighbor and To Be an Artist and Lisa authored Soil Sisters: A Toolkit for Women Farmers. The husband-and-wife team run Inn Serendipity Farm and Bed & Breakfast, recognized nationally as a showplace for sustainable living and green design. John is also a professional photographer, capturing images of everything from the Sandhill Crane migration in Nebraska to Door County fish boils with a drone. Over the last two decades, they have crafted a diversified live and livelihood off their farmstead, focused on addressing climate change, building community and creating their version of the good life.
