About Food Web Farms
A diversified family-run farm just west of Monroe on a beautiful piece of land surrounded with amazing views in every direction, Food Web Farms raises farm fresh, cage free, and free range eggs of various sizes and colors. The farm also raises lamb, poultry, seasonal produce, honey, hay, and (new this year!) pheasants along with a crop of home-schooled kids.
About Michelle Harrigan
Michelle Harrigan, along with her husband Dan and her two children, started Food Web Farm in 2014. A small family farm committed to finding how we can best care for the land and provide fresh, homegrown, and well cared for meat and produce for our friends and neighbors. Michelle also holds farm themed programs for young children and their families to help inspire the next generation and is an advocate for building rural mental health resources and autism awareness.
Soil Sisters is an award-winning project of the non-profit Renewing the Countryside, bringing together women championing local food, community building, sustainable and organic agriculture and vibrant rural communities for collaboration, networking and cooking up change. The founding Soil Sisters in southern Wisconsin organize the annual Soil Sisters event the first weekend in August, the largest women-farmer led event of its kind in the country. Since 2012, the Soil Sisters open their barn doors and farms for various workshops, culinary events and more.
