Have you considered raising pigs?
This workshop will cover the basics of prepping for pigs and then some. We will cover breeds, shelter, fencing, feed, water, basic vet care, farrowing and how to talk to your butcher.
You will spend time with the hogs, touring, and learning at a working farm. Come get your boots dirty and leave with a cut of pork, confidence ... and ready to raise some pigs.
Workshop fee: $50.00 (13 and up)
BONUS: Registration includes a free copy of the book Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN Stories of Sustainable Living, Working & Playing (a $26.95 value) will be made available to every couple, household or family participating in this workshop (one free copy per address).
