Join us for A Night of Too Many Chefs. Through a multi-chef culinary experience, we invite community to gather in shared civic spacecelebrate Filipino culture, and move toward healing after the Lapu-Lapu Day tragedy.

With the generous partnership of the H.R. Macmillan Space Centre and The Museum of Vancouver, we welcome you to celebrate in the spirit of “One Sky. One Universe. One Kinship.” (Kapwa x Skwélwen)

Featuring food stations from Filipino chefs:

  • Marco Ramirez – Kulinarya

  • Rafael Racela – ¿CóMO? Tapería

Dessert stations featuring the talents of:

  • Diana Silva - Cake it Easy
  • Keem Herera – Ice Keem Shop
  • Maj Yee – Goldilocks
  • Mark Tagulao - Coco Molinillo
  • Racel Lomotan – Leavenly Goods

This unique evening will open with a Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Ceremonial Welcome, have 10 chef stations, a silent auction, music from DJ Niña Mendoza and a performance by Bella Roces. 

Ticket includes food, dessert, and two drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). 

Proceeds from this event go to Ono Vancouver's community meals program, which donates 1,500 healthy free meals to underserved communities in Vancouver every week, and to the Vancouver Filipino Chef Meal Train, supporting anyone impacted by the Lapu-Lapu Day tragedy with culturally-appropriate meals as they heal.

Accessibility

Museum of Vancouver is wheelchair and scooter accessible, including washrooms, ramps and elevators, and wide entrances and exits. There are five wheelchair accessible parking spots in the EasyPark lot in front of the building. One is on the west side of the lot by the payment machine. The others are on the east side of the lot.
