Visualise Your Thesis 2024 Competition by University of Glasgow

On behalf of the Researcher Development team at the University of Glasgow, we would like to invite all UofG community, including students, staff members as well as their friends, family members, and colleagues to celebrate the research done at the University and support fellow UofG PGR students participating in the local round of the Visualise Your Thesis competition for a £1,000 and £500 research travel grant prizes. 🏆

Visualise Your Thesis™ (VYT) is an internationally renowned academic communication competition which challenges postgraduate researchers at any stage of their studies to present their projects in a 60-second, eye-catching video. VYT competitors are tasked with developing a striking video presentation that briefly describes their research and its potential benefits to a non-specialist audience. Check what international VYT looks like! 🎦

This year, we are bringing the VYT competition to Glasgow Film Theatre with all VYT video entries being shown in the cinema setting on the large screen! Bring your family, friends, and colleagues to see the visualised postgraduate research at the University of Glasgow. 🎬

Keep in mind that during the event, you will be able to vote for your favourite VYT entry (that will contribute to People's Choice Award – a £150 voucher).

Drinks and snacks will be provided. 🥤🥨
