Richard Todd
Process Development and Digital Training Fellow for the University of Birmingham

Richard has 10 years of experience across the life sciences sector, including industry, academia and government roles. Richard holds an MSc in Immunology and an MBA from Imperial College and the University of Birmingham. He deployed the UK government’s largest COVID testing facility, capable of processing 150k samples daily, and was responsible for downscaling the government's testing facilities post-pandemic. Before that, he worked as a research scientist for an SME, Hygiena Int. developing food microbiology tests for public safety.

Today, Richard is a Process Development and Digital Training Fellow for the University of Birmingham.
