ATMPs are radically changing patient outcomes in several diseases. Their properties make them very different from traditional medicines, and they bring new, complex challenges in terms of storage, handling, and maintaining a chain of custody from raw material to the patient.

This course will cover:

Fundamentals on production and use of ATMP medicines
•The clinical landscape of ATMPs in trials and on the market
•Sources of risk in delivering cell products to the clinic
•Clinical user perspectives and workshop

Who should attend:

Anyone with an interest in working with ATMPs, including manufacturing and supply chain personnel, specialist research nursing staff, nursing staff working with licenced ATMPs, hospital pharmacists, graduates or research scientists looking to establish their career in ATMP industry. 2 days in person course.

We run our courses with funding from UK Government Department of Science, Innovation and Technology. Our fee for non-university attendees is £995. We waive this fee in full for University of Birmingham staff and students. In several of our recent courses we have experienced non-attendance from UoB staff. Please ensure you have permission from your PI/line manager to attend this course and in the event that you do not attend without prior cancellation we will charge a non-attendance fee.
