Poverty Awareness Training: Part 1 - Practical support

This session will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams, a link will be emailed to you a week before the session.

This session is all about how we can practically help people who are living in poverty.

This session is suitable for the following attendees only:

  • NHS Greater Manchester staff
  • Anyone working in health or social care in Greater Manchester
  • Anyone working in partnership with NHS Greater Manchester

At this session you will learn:

  • What poverty is and how it affects people and communities in Greater Manchester
  • Best practice when offering support to people in need
  • How to find practical resources you can use to support people in need

There will also be time during the session for discussion and questions
