This session will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams, a link will be emailed to you a week before the session.
You do not need to attend the other session 'part 1 - practical support' in order to attend this session.
This session is all about understanding how poverty affects the NHS system in Greater Manchester, and how we can tackle poverty through strategy and policy responses
This session is suitable for the following attendees only:
- NHS Greater Manchester staff
- anyone working in health or social care in Greater Manchester
- anyone working in partnership with NHS Greater Manchester
At this session you will learn:
- What poverty is and how it affects people and communities in Greater Manchester
- How poverty affects the NHS system in Greater Manchester
- How we can design strategic and policy responses to tackle poverty within the NHS
There will also be time during the session for discussion and questions
