Valuing Lived Experience Training

This training course will strengthen your approach to engaging with people with lived experience of poverty.

The sessions are delivered via Microsoft Teams, a link will be emailed to you a week before the session.

What you’ll learn:

• How to design and facilitate lived experience spaces and use these spaces to strengthen and inform their work.
• Best practices for delivering lived experience engagement safely and ethically, recognising multiple disadvantage and valuing the voices and experiences of the people they work with.
• Insights from our work of engaging people with lived experience of poverty to inform the development of effective responses to poverty.

Who's it for?

It is suitable for all staff and volunteers across local authorities, public sector, private sector, education, and the voluntary, faith, community and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector who engage with people experiencing poverty. Roles can include:
