This training course will build your knowledge of poverty data in the UK - what it tells us, where to find it, and how to use it to build effective responses to poverty
The sessions are delivered via Microsoft Teams, a link will be emailed to you a week before the session.
What you’ll learn:
- The importance of data in designing responses to poverty
- Recent UK poverty trends, and what data tells us about how poverty affects different groups of people
- The tools we can use to gather and interpret poverty data and support people in poverty.
- Essential data analysis skills for interpreting poverty data
- How to visualise and present data effectively to communicate your findings to stakeholders
Who's it for?
Local government, public sector and VCFSE organisations interested in better understanding and using data which tells us how poverty affects people and communities.
