Calling all music producers and enthusiasts, sound (design) nerds, those interested in getting into production, and anyone looking for tools or inspiration ࿐ ˊˎ-

As part of our hybrid series - SHIFT - we’re hosting a workshop with renowned electronic music producer, sound designer, DJ, and Ableton trainer PIEZO (Luca Mucci) on Friday, June 13th at 5PM (doors @ 4:30PM) — followed by a social mixer including food, beverages and dj decks before we head to The Downbeat for his set alongside Bronwyn (YVR), Vasho (YVR), and Scree Running.

⇧ About Luca ( @piezopz ):
Luca’s work blends music, sound, art and technology. Classically trained as a pianist, he expanded into electronic music producing, DJing, manufacturing synthesizers, Digital Signal Processing research, and teaching Ableton since the early 2000s. Luca is an Ableton Certified Trainer, with a Master’s from Politecnico di Milano and a career as a producer, Sound Designer and DJ spanning Europe’s clubs, festivals, and radio shows. He regularly releases music as Piezo, with numerous records to his credit, and regularly teaches Ableton Live in Milan, both at the 4CMP school and as a private tutor in his own studio. He also lectures at the CESMA institute in Bormio (Ticino, CH). His classes range from Ableton Live Basics to Advanced Production and Performance Techniques.

In this workshop, Luca will dive into the creative process, blending technical skills within a broader artistic framework. Perfect for anyone from seasoned to new producers.
